Haute Maurienne Vanoise

Since 1937, the High Alps Route represents a prestigious road running 670 km from Lake Léman to the Mediterranean, through 16 major passes, including the Iseran Pass in Haute Maurienne Vanoise, the highest roadway pass in Europe.

The High Alps Route follows the historical itinerary created at the beginning of the 20th century by the Touring Club de France. The Haute Maurienne Vanoise region, an inescapable passageway between the two high valleys of Savoy, the Tarentaise and the Maurienne.

It is here that the Alps will offer you magnificent panoramas, grandiose landscapes, an exceptional natural reserve, a history that is both rich and captivating, mountain villages with authentic charm, a vital and welcoming mountain environment, and a full-sized playground...
