Roads of History
Roads of History
Ten chapels at Val Cenis Lanslevillard have been restored and furnished to present the "Roads of History."
From prehistory to the creation of the ski resort at Val Cenis, by way of the Gallo-Roman period, the Middle Ages and the Baroque era, visitors discover, at their own pace and with the help of a key, the history of this community of Haute Maurienne.
How does it work?
Meet at the St Roch chapel at Val Cenis Lanslevillard. With a big key and tokens, open the doors of the chapels: history and cultural heritage will be discovered as you promenade. This circuit is accessible to all, without obligation to visit all 10 chapels.
Key rental: 5 € (+ 30 € security deposit).
Open from Christmas to the end of April.
