Incontestably one of the most impressive glacier areas in Savoy, thanks to the headwaters, torrents and waterfalls that have etched a relief so characteristic of the Alps.

After an easily accessible ascent, you will discover a glacier cirque surrounded by majestic summits over 3500 m tall; you can even walk to the foot of the glacier.
The site is particularly interesting for its flowers and features a number of rare species: Celtic nard, Senecio uniflorus, Achilea herbarota, etc.

For bird-watchers, bird varieties like the black swift, the red-backed shrike or the alpine accentor will put in an appearance if you know how to be quiet.
A stop in a mountain hut will allow you to have a drink and eat at any time. You can also spend the night there. What could be more magical than pink-tinged mountains at sunset?
